So, what did we learn in this week’s Power Rankings?  Adrian, last year’s doormat, is showing flashes of the Adrian of old.  Drew is a powerhouse. Colin plays everyone during their best weeks of the season.  And, 3 weeks is way too small of a sample size to determine anything.  The top four teams are separated by 5 points, while the bottom four are separated by 19.5.

Fun fact for this week: Drew’s Pitching (48) and Adrian’s offense (43.5) outscored Richie and Jarrett’s entire teams.  They both rode these half-teams to the top two spots in our rankings.

Drew’s pitching is LAGITTimMatt (Sorry Alex and Colin,) the only comparison I can make to Drew’s Pitching staff is that it is as awesome as that nickname was gay.

Kurt managed to hang on to a tie against a surging TJ, who mashed home runs all week and took advantage of a mistimed benching of Jose Tabata at a game that could technically be considered the smallest possible DD trip.  Brendan Dillon was in attendance as well as B(Dr)abek.

Colin can not catch a break.  Alex mauled his team while posting a 2.25 ERA and 1.11 WHIP.  Colin may not have had the prettiest numbers, but it has but him in a formidable hole early in the season.
Ben outperformed his statistical ranking this week.  And we still don’t hang out enough Ben.  You live right down the street from me, seriously I do nothing all day.

Jarrett and Alex confused me a lot while making  the computer rankings.  Alex’s team name threw me off, as I would see the word Jarrett I would assume it was his team and then have to correct myself.  It was an irrational assumption to make, as the only time anyone has referenced themselves in a team name was Adrian last year, when his team “Coach Adrian” had a remarkably bad season.

For more great in-depth coverage read Gentilli’s in the post below this.

Also I would like to give a shout out to the man I just mentioned.  Alex has successfully created by far the most clever team slogan I’ve seen since Yahoo! decided that some team names need a little more explaining.  Props on that, and keep up the great work everyone!
