Alright everyone, and for all you Keenan and Kel fans, Aw here it goes. Its time for the one, the only, the most important moment in all of your weeks, maybe even you're lives. It's time I update you on the heavily coveted, heavily argued chase for the G spot. Without further adieu, or more of a ramble, here are you're updated standings.
1. Kurt
2. James
3. Drew
4. TJ
5. Adrian
6. Ben
7. Alex
8. Jarrett
9. Colin
10. Richie
Kurt had a strong week, eeking out a close victory against Colin's lowly team. However, he's on a winning streak, and his aggregate stats are second only to Drew (who once again proves that even a blind squirrel can and will find the occasional nut).
James, fresh off of winning my manager of the week award, comes in second with a strong week over previously 8-2 Ben. His team, powered by the Norse God Tulowitzki, seems poised to build off of last years strong post season. James, who is looking for his league record third championship, has a strong foundation and should be a force to be reckoned with this season.
Drew, despite having the highest aggregate total statistics, falls this week to the third spot following a close loss to TJ. Drew is attempting to be the Oscar Pistorius
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Pistorius) of the league, competing admirably against as a disabled* man against a league full of highly functioning adults.
TJ had a solid week, earning a victory over Drew. This led to his 4 spot. Adrian came in the 5 spot with his victory over Jarrett. He also has continued to post outstanding team names this year, earning said praise by yours truly.
Ben, a week after coming off of a soft 8-2 win, lost to James in a close matchup. He had a very solid week, and should hopefully continue to build off of that momentum.
Alex barely beat a pathetic Richie team, but a win's a win, so he moved up in the rankings. Jarrett earned a tie against Adrian, and is idling in the wings, waiting to pounce like a puma on whomever shows the first sign of weakness. Colin is still looking to put it all together, but his team is showing signs of life, putting in a very solid pitching line vs. Kurt this past week.
Richies team just sucks right now. Flat out. I mean, shit, I beat him. But if I know Richie, which I do, I'd expect him to start wheeling and dealing in an attempt to make moves to better his team.
Good luck to everyone in week three. Facebook message me questions for my mail bag, god damnit. Just do it. C'mon. Please?
Drew was born with a severe mental handicap. However, through hard work, and a superb moustache, he soon proved himself to be a worthy competitor in chase for the challace. Drew won the championship in 2009, overcoming all adversity. Golf clap everybody. Yay!
Wahoo!!! Mustaches!!!
